conas tá' Just a quick question concerning the usage of "ansiúd" if anyone can help. I was always wondering when to use it, i was reading an article in Gaelscéal the other day and it used it in the context of "....corrfhocal anseo is ansiúd". So I was wondering, would it be wrong to use "ansin" in place of ansiúd here? any help appreciated

As with úd by itself, it can convey the idea of "over yonder", in the sense of "a good ways away".
