How would you say that a couple "broke up" in Irish? And how would you say "they got back together"?

I think Bríd has put the finger on it.

Some suggestions I am thinking of:

The couple broke up:
Scar an lánúin óna chéile
The couple are 'broke up':
Tá an lánúin scartha óna chéile

The couple got back together:
Tháinig an lánúin ar ais le chéile
The couple are back together:
Tá an lánúin ar ais le chéile

The couple broke up and then they got back together
Bhí an lánúin scartha óna chéile agus ansin tháinig siad ar ais le chéile.

The couple broke up and now they are back together
Bhí an lánúin scartha óna chéile agus tá siad ar ais le chéile anois

I think that more or less covers it, Braoin. Thanks to everyone for your input (and banter).
