Bun an Bhaile - I think it must mean 'comfortably at home' or something like that, but I'm quite not sure about the exact meaning. It's the name of the CD by Mairéad Mhic Dhonncha and when I try looking for it on the web, it keeps coming up with B&B's - cosier and more cosier than one before.

It means: the bottom of the town, as opposed to barr an bhaile, the top of the town.

I've just realised what it's about - the family of Mairéad Mhic Dhonncha were from Blasket where you have the upper village and the lower village. It's nothing to do with being comfortably seated in a cosy B&B.

It created a nice image though!
