This is to try recruit some new people to our conversation group. I'd appreciate any corrections, or even just suggestions on how to phrase things better.

Quote:
Oíche Ghaeilge

Gach Luan ag 8:00 in Leyden's, Sráid Eoin, Cill Chainnigh
(teach tábhairne os comhair an stáisiúin traenach)

Gan ranganna, gan téacsleabhair, gan scrúdaithe

Níl ach cúpla cara ag caint agus ag ól pionta nó caife. Bíonn fáilte roimh gach uilig, tosaitheoirí agus cainteoirí líofa.

Tá do théacs chóir a bheith iomlán ceart ach d'athraigh mé cupla rud.

Oíche Ghaeilge

Gach Luan ag 8:00 in Leyden's, Sráid Eoin, Cill Chainnigh
(teach tábhairne os comhair an stáisiúin traenach)

Gan ranganna, gan téacsleabhair, gan scrúduithe

bhíonn i gceist ach comhrá a dhéanamh agus pionta nó caife a ól le chéile. Bíonn fáilte roimh gach duine, idir thosaitheoirí agus chainteoirí líofa.

Just highlighting the corrections in red, which is our preferred way of showing where you have made corrections to someone else's Irish here on ILF, as it is much clearer what has been changed. (Changes other than corrections can be indicated by other colours.)

Those corrections look good, a Lughaidh.

We're not connected to any other organisation or campaign, but you're right, it's the same idea.

You could look into registering - you might manage to pick up a few freebies!
