I think someone on the forum has already mentioned TG Lurgan before, at least with respect to its teaching materials, but they also have what looks to be a great summer program to bring kids together to practice and improve their Irish -- much more lively than what I've seen before (though I never got to go to such programs as a kid, more's the pity, so I'm not all that familiar with them).

I recently saw some music videos they have online where students have done covers as Gaeilge of well-known songs, and have also created their own popular songs. There's a good example of the latter at this link:

The tune of that song is catchy, and the singer has a good voice (and what appears to be an American accent).

Programs like this are just what's needed to make Irish "cool" for kids and encourage them to learn. And to those few who are inevitably going to moan about pronunciation, let's please not start that useless debate again. It's been done to death on this forum, and no one is changing anyone's mind. If you're unhappy with the videos, just don't listen to them.

Now, now, Caoimhín. This is an open forum. You can't post videos with crappy pronunciation and then tell people not to listen to them. That's like saying "If you don't like my comments, don't read them."

There's absolutely no reason these kids couldn't be just as cool using good pronunciation instead of bad.

For instance, the é in mé should be a pure vowel, not a diphthong. Listen to the good native examples here:
