Monica did also mention not wanting the angels to be definite, which was part of the reason for changing Cian's translation. However, it sounds more natural in Irish as na haingil than just aingil. The definite article doesn't map one-to-one between the two languages.

it makes sense to go with what sounds natural. good translations are never the ones mot-a-mot. So I will go with "na haingil" thank you all so much!!
