1. You may have set it up so that your receive an e-mail telling you when someone has pmed you.
2. A brief pop-up will appear at the bottom of the screen when you log on which will let you know that you have a message from someone.
3. On the top left of the screen, just to the right of 'logout', it will say "1 new message".

I thought it was worth reminding a few people as not everyone seems to realise when they have been pmed!
