Oops. In Ulster we often say "roimhe" instead of roimh as a preposition (and often "aroimhe" instead of "roimhe" as an adverb).

But then in my sentence it should be ""roimhe an chéad chupán tae a ól dó" since it was meant to be standard Irish...

Yeah, it did kind of have to be standard for the application, but it's good to know the regional forms as well!
