más rud é go: Tá sé go deas bualadh leat <<bhfuil sé bailí?
agus: Tá/beidh/bhí ...represent various tenses of a given present statement (it is/it will be/it was)
Such as: Tá sacar ann anois/beidh sacar ann anocht/bhí sacar ann aréir
Then...and stay with me I
feel like I'm having a breakthrough....
Does: "Bhí sé go deas bualadh leat aréir" mean what I want it to mean (It was nice to meet you last night) or am I totally screwing this up?
Agus, you're welcome to comment on any part of the (and indeed I hope you will) above but do please answer my specific it's burning me up. If I am totally screwed up then what would one say?
